The Fremont Street Experience was only the beginning of Downtown's new look. Nearly 7 years and several delays later, Neonopolis completes phase two of the cities 10 year plan to revamp Downtown. Although the $200 million already spent on the two projects, leaves a lot to be desired. Granted Fremont Street does have a new look, but if you wonder off that path, you will find all the lust and glamour of Tijuana.
Help The Cause!
Fight The Man!
Rather than placing a couple of Over Priced Architectural Marvels in the middle of all the "hourly" motels and Bail Bonds 'R' Us, they need to focus on cleaning the entire area. They had a plan to make the downtown area, the "Art District". Well that would be great if they contributed more than just a monstrous Strip Mall, that isn't even halfway completed. Although, they have promised to dedicate 2 of the 14 Crown Theaters to Indy Films, but that has yet to be seen.
